Elder Pearson

Jason's letter dated 1-11: "This morning Elder Nuttall and I were alone walking to Sacrament meeting and Brother Houk, a counselor in our Branch Presidency, pulled us aside and asked us to be zone leaders. Crazy eh? I got pretty excited. We will be actually be called this next up coming Sunday. We have followed the previous zone leaders all day. There is very little responsibility but I am still pretty excited."

"This place is so dang wonderful. I am so happy each day. I love this gospel and I know it's true. There is no way that it can be false. This gospel is the most important thing ever in this earth."

First Real Letter

We received our first real letter from Jason, he has been pretty short on words usually but here is what he says.

Merry Christmas!!! to all those that I love!!

What a wonderful time of year to ponder and
think of those who have made us smile.
Most of all our Savior Jesus Christ.
There would never be any reason to smile if
his birth had never happened.
Please take some time alone today and think of Him.
Take out your scriptures and read a little
about him if you can. 
Make sure that you can feel the spirit of this time and make sure that you can feel
the love and warmth of this wonderful Christmas Day!!

Last night we had the magnifico opertunidad to hear from
Elder Bednar. He is such as wonderful and powerful servant
of the Lord and this church. I wish you all could have
heard the words that he spoke to us missionaries.

Who brought light to the American Continant at his birth?
Who is the light and the life?

Never look at a Christmas tree and its light the same again.
They truly mean something.

I love you all and I love my Savior Jesus Christ.
He truly atoned for all of us, and the least we
can do this day is take a littel time to remember Him.

Just wanted you all to see the transformation that I (John)
should take most of the credit for, after all this was the
last hair cut that he had before he left to college, now look
what we have (see pictures and letter above) you can all thank
me latter.

So whats happen now by John

So I've been kinda under the weather lately..... But it's ok cause I got to spend time with all my amazing brothers and I just want to let them know how much I love and appreciate them even though they let Jason and me beat them in the annual Turkey Bowl this year.... But that's not important it was good that we could spend quality time together, or something like that. Anyways well I'm really busy right now so make some cool comments and you might get some more cool posts.

Whats Happenin Now by jason

So things are going pretty good. J0hn is definitely keeping me on my toes. I am always looking around the corner and seeing what dumb thing he is doing next. Anyways my new favorite food is Chili with one of those way cheap smoke link dog thingies but its all healthy and good so its all good. I have mostly eaten all of the chili like only 20 cans but its all good because mom bought most of it and john is just only a little mad.
